PROACTIVE & PREVENTATIVE POLICING WITHIN YOUR COMMUNITY

Last night the Farnworth & Kearsley neighbourhood team conducted a plain clothes operation in an around Farnworth Town Centre and Kearsley. The team were focussing on the use of illegal E-bikes and drug supply throughout the area. The operation was a success and amongst several stop searches and vehicle stops, 2 people were found in possession of drugs.

Officers also stopped and seized an illegal E-bike being used in Stoneclough and Kearsley which had been adapted to allow throttle control and was capable of going 38mph without peddle assistance.

We will continue our proactive work around Farnworth and Kearsley and are dedicated to taking all illegal E-bikes, off road bikes and Sur-Ron’s off our streets.
